Bird ID please (Mwnt, Wales)

Hi All

Rattled of some poor photos in the gloom, the same small valley as the the last Pipit ID request.

Thought they might be Twite, having never seen one before. Checked at home and looks like Linnets to me? Not quite as per Collins but the greyish head does it for me? Sort of coastal area Twite might like but not sure Mwnt has ever had any. Conclusion - Linnet

Thought so, buff breast with marking had me wondering. Always amazes me the variation in plumage of linnets through the year. Thanks
