Dear all,

Campfield On the Solway.
Won't bore you with a species list, spotted 81 but will mention a few highlights.
The Crane gave superb views (you are right about the eye Stewart) - Flotilla of Merganser (30+) - Bartailed Godwit in breeding togs - Whimbrel - Turnstone in summer rig - Golden Plover – Knot. Barn Owl past empty then back with cargo.

The raptors did me proud. Watched a Peregrine take a Lapwing only 100yds away, it looked as if it would fly into the telescope.
Merlin, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, and Kestrel also graced the scene.

Wait for it ----- An Osprey gave views for 3hrs including a fishing demonstration.

Regards.
G B-S.

I'd have settled just for the peregrine and Osprey! Sounds like a superb day.

Jammy bu**er i am jealous had to make do with a couple of Roseates, Pom + Artic Skua, and Little Gull.

Just cannot connect with an Osprey this year and you had 3 hours worth plus a Peregrine hunting not fair i say not fair :storm:

Cuddy.
