Eagles a plenty in ND (1 Viewer)

I've noticed a lot of eagle activity in recent years thru out western ND. This winter I had a beautiful golden eagle at 40 yards in my Zeiss 85mm. This is the first sighting I've had on my own land, I have watched them on surrounding properties from long distance. Besides in a zoo I hadn't watched one this close, and with the spotter, WOW!! I also have nesting pair of horned owls that call the old farmstead home in the summers, usually two or three little fuzz balls in the nest. The heart river has a fair amount of nesting pairs of Bald eagles that can be watched thru out the season. Two winters ago I watched as a immature eagle attempted to take down a full grown whitetail doe, it didn't succeed but it was a sight.
