The short tail is a giveaway for vole, but I would go for bank vole as they tend to be more ginger whereas field voles are greyer.

Agree. The tail of the animal in the photo curves out of site so it's longer than it first appears. Ears are also more prominent on a Bank Vole (they're more obscured by fur in Field (Short-tailed) Vole.

Ditto to Bank Vole - rufous flanks, compared to Field Vole's more buffy-grey colour.

Quite common in banks, where they feed on various financial instruments. Perhaps.

Another for Bank Vole based on colour of back (and vole shape rather than mouse shape). Bank voles tend to be more likely to be visible as they feed more on seeds etc, rather than the more exclusive grass diet of Field Vole.

It's a Bank Vole: reddish-brown back, bicoloured tail top to bottom: blunt muzzle eliminates all mice. Field Vole excluded by fairly obvious, short-haired ears and, to an extent, by sharp difference between dark uppers/flanks and white underside. Field Vole generally more uniform and can be concolorous.
