Thank you in advance to all you butterfly/moth experts for your help with these 2 and previous ids. Taken last few days in Woking, Surrey.

I'd say 1 is a rather worn Heart and Dart while 2 is a strikingly marked Willow Beauty.

Number 1 is a male Turnip, Agrotis segetum.

Darn it - I looked at Turnip but thought the 'dart' looked wrong!

It's the antennae that's the dead giveaway.

No antennae on show for either moth in my book, unfortunately, but mentioned (and overlooked) in the description - lesson learned!
