Canon 15X45 IS Tripod Adapter (1 Viewer)

A friend is trying to locate a tripod adapter for his Canon 15X45 IS. He states, "I’ve been working on trying to find a dependable way to adapt my Canon 15X45IS binocular to a tripod. Regrettably, on the 15X45, Canon did not provide a threaded connection point. There are a couple of “universal adapters” available that will work to the extent that they will hold the binocular somewhat securely, one is made by Nikon, the other by Bushnell that will work. But neither of them are so secure that when viewing long distance objects, it would not be very hard to move the binocular slightly just by touching it with the result that the target image would be lost. The only really secure dedicated holder/adapter that is specifically designed for the 15X45IS model is the Canon TA-B1. It is extremely hard to find and if you do locate a source, the prices being quoted always seem to be nuts."
Does anyone know of a readily available adapter which would meet his needs?
