I saw a set in sharper image one time of binocs with a stabalizer button and just fell in love. im kicking myself for not buying them, but i know there has to be other manufacturers that make something similar. they were a small light model, great for birdwatching. any suggestions?

They might have been Canon 8 x 25 IS. $269.00 from www.eagleoptics.com. Look at them there.

Or try the Canon 10x30 IS. Slightly bigger but the batteries are easier to replace and you can get rechargables for them easily. You can get rechargable for the Canon 8x25 IS but you will have to get them mail order.

Hope this helps, good luck :t:
