HELLO FROM Jack Ashton-Booth (1 Viewer)

What is about the head structure of Pied/Collared/Semi-collared/ Red-breasted Flycatchers that makes them such a challenge to draw????

Eye positon, bill structure, how the base of the bill meets the lores or their plain faced appearance? Its as if theres nothing there? and how can you steer away from an over pot-bellied appearance.

All these add to the magic of these bird...........

Jack. Just a word of encouragement. I think your artwork has developed significantly in the last 12 months.

Your passion for trying new things is clear for all to see. I look forward to seeing you get better and better over the next few years.

Regards.

Mark
