Sightron SIII 8x32 ED (1 Viewer)

Has anyone tried these? I talked with Sightron and they told me they were made in Japan which is encouraging. Since so many like the SII it would be interesting to see how these compare.

My mistake. Perhaps I require corrective lens.

Sightron SIII 8x32mm Magnesium, MPN: SIIIMS832, is 4 bills no mention of ED. Sightron SIII 8x32mm ED, MPN: SIII832ED, is 40 clams less. Sightron SIII Magnesium Series 8x32 tactical, MPN: SIIIMS832TAC, is 430 all via OP.

All three on Sightron site claim fov of 394' though the Tactical mag, w/tactical reticle, has 7.5* on the body. The MS32 mag has two views w/one showing 6.5* the other w/o degree. Both mag mods listed at 19.7oz w/ED at 21.16oz. I cannot see the ED focus wheel where info is available instead of the body.

I would attempt contact w/Sightron for a timeline of introduction. On OP only the ED model has no specs & it's the cheapest of the three roof prism SIII 8x32.

ED is the newest model and according to Sightron CS has the best optics. The older models probably cost more because they have magnesium bodies. Tactical is green instead of black. Don't really care about that too much though, I was just hoping someone had seen the ED model and could provide some feedback. FrankD perhaps?
