I'm a wildlife (game animal) researcher, outdoor writer, author, seminar speaker and professional guide/outfitter who has just started a Natural History Eco-tour business in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Wyoming and Colorado.

I'm kind of new to birding (two years), so I'm not proficient at determing birds by their calls or songs -yet, but I know many of the NA birds by sight. Since I research waterfowl I know them quite well, and I do a lot of photograpy of ducks, geese, swans, sandhill cranes and bald eagles. But, I've studied elk, white-tailed deer, ducks, geese and wild turkeys for 10 years.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, making new friends, and learning about birds.

May God bless you and yours,

T.R. Michels
