Waxwings Waxwings Where Are They (1 Viewer)

From the last week on birdguides there has been sightings of two waxwings in Colchester in the Asda car park and 15-20 waxwings in Pitsea in the Aldi car park. Hope this helps.

Check www.southendrspb.co.uk on the latest sightings page

They were at Pitsea earlier this week in the Aldi carpark & in my end of Essex 2 in Colchester Asda Turner Rise(Wed 8th) & 12 at Highwoods Country Park(Thurs 9th)
I went twice to try & see them this week but failed both times :-C

There were 10 birds at Focus DIY car park at Haverhill suffolk best seen early I believe. They sometimes fly over to the adjacent Sainsbury's.

probably easiest for you to get to, M11, A11, and then follow signs to Haverhill. Even I found Focus/Sainsbury's!!

They haven't been by here yet, Ipswich, I check the trees daily I saw them on last year.

I haven't seen any in Ipswich either this winter. There were reports from Kesgrave at Tescos early in the winter and more recently some at Cinrams on Ransomes Europark.
