I was truly amazed and surprised to see a video clip on a finland website showing a great tit dispatching a redpoll for food, the clip could be
upsetting for some so please be warned i have not heard or seen anything like it and don,t wish to either it leaves a few questions to be asked i wonder if
such behaviour has been witnessed here before.

hi phil thanks for your post and link, the clip i just saw showed a decent sized flock of
redpoll feeding on the snow covered ground when all of a sudden this great tit picks out one of the redpolls a struggle commences but eventually the redpoll is over powered and the great tit feasts on the dead bird.
