Which Swarovski model is this in the photos? (1 Viewer)

All of the pics are of Swarovision ELs because the Goshawk is on the left barrel and the SWAROVSKI on the right.

On the original ELs it was the opposite way.

LOL how is that possible if they say "Swarovski"?

These rare pre-production SF prototypes were left out in the rain as a test and they went mouldy and green. Some deluded people think that they have SWAROVSKI written on them but actually its just random variations in the mould. If you want a more detailed explanation you need to study Chaos Theory after drinking a metre of pilsner (see the Ignore Leica thread) and then all will become clear.

Lee,

It is much simpler than that.

You may have your first metre of Pilsner for the day when the sun is over the yard arm B :)

Speaking of Chaos, I just discovered that "yard" is an old Germanic word for "a pointed stick."

Nice one Bob :king:

Somewhere, I am sure, there is an ISO standard providing a precise definition of a sharp stick.

Aha! So that's how Swarovski manages to develop that exquisite puke-green exterior on their binoculars: through careful introduction of selected mold spores and proper aging! |:D|

Actually, no HN.

Nobody outside Swarovski knows how this 'distinctive' colour is achieved.

My theory is that it involves some combination of Sbrinz Cheese (matured for 3 years), Swiss Gnomes, Leather Shorts and Cuckoo Clocks, and a lot, a helluva lot of yodelling.
