Need information about this telescope (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have got a "telescope" from the local market, but I don't know if this is a telescope or not, because this one doesn't extend and pull back as other telescopes do, I am posting some pics in here, so if anyone knows what this really is, please would you leave your comments here, many thanks!

Looks like it might have been a permanent-mount scope on a ship, plus I seem to barely be able to make out the MOD broadarrow at the bottom of one of your pictures. I think you'll have a lot better luck posting on a military items forum, or even someplace like
