Its a tuff one, I got ok--ish views of the elegent tern at Dawlish Warren this year.The bill on that one did appear longer and more drooped, than on your close up shots.But the Dawlish bird spend alot of time out to sea fishing, rather than showing off....but I suppose it had to go somewhere??
 
Just to make it clear that these are not MY shots,as I only have an old-fashioned "analogue" camera with a 300mm lens(not powerful enough for most bird photography)
