Two passerines from Brazil, summer (1 Viewer)

Dear all, I am finally at the end of my identification process, and these two remain. Both taken in the State of Bahia.
Could photo 1 be a pectoral Sparrow female ?
No real clue except perhaps a Seedeater for photo 2

Second one looks like perhaps an immature Burnished Buff Tanager. Sparrow could well be (immature?) Pectoral Sparrow but it's not a species I'm familiar with, and I wouldn't know off hand what confusion species might be in that area.

Agree with both,
Sparrow looks to be a female.
