I have a Swarovski AT80HD with a 20-60 zoom eyepiece and use a LCE adaptor.I noticed today when the adaptor is on there is about a good 1/4 inch gap to the lens,if I screw the eye cup off the eyepiece the lens sits nearly flush.Should I use it with the eye cup on or off for better results?

Thanks Geoff :t:

Definitely off! It's a long thread on the rubber eyecup, so I reverse it and just use it as a push on/off eyecup when using the scope in a conventionl manner... I know it's reversed but it's still comfortable against the eye.
