Best time for birding in a day (1 Viewer)

It depends what species you want to see, but normally morning or evening. The morning is when birds are very active as they need to find food to replenish the energy they lost through the night. Insects also warm up and begin to fly in the morning, meaning insectivorous birds find it easier to feed on them. They also sing in the morning in the breeding season. The same applies to the evening - birds need to find enough enervy to survive the night. During the day, less birds are active and they hide. If you have a garden, you could put a bird bath in it to attract birds in the middle of the day, as they need to cool themselves down in the heat. Some birders also go birding at night to spot nocturnal species like Owls e.g. I hope this helps. :)

Waterbirds and Waders, has no Special time, accept in areas which are crowded, than come before the People wake up.

In the forest, best time is after sunset until 9.
In the afternoon until sunset is also not bad.

In Migration time, most singing birds starts before sunset or a Little bit later.
Raptors starts later at the day, because they Need thermic conditions.
At nice days the migrations birds filght high.
In bad days the come more down.
