Everyone except me seemed to know about Waxwings in Avonmouth. Went down today and saw one bird which stayed around for 30 min although there were ten there Thurs. It's on Third Way near the JCB front.

Waxwings still present in Horfield today. Great views obtainable in low rowans at the Ashley Down Rd end of Brynland Ave. Flock of 14 settled around lunch time, and flock of c60 over the area.

Are the waxwings still around anywhere in/near Bristol? I have wanted to see one since I was 15 and I'm 50 now!
