50D settings question (1 Viewer)

when I'm walking along I'm trying to be ready for those first 5 seconds that i see a bird, so i'm in aperture priority mode and tweaking the ISO, aperture, and sometimes exposure compensation to the best of my ability so that i can max my chances of getting a decent picture during the first few seconds i see a bird i like, banking on it flying away after a few seconds.

if it doesnt ill quickly attach my camera to my tripod, look for a good view of the bird thats unobstructed, turn off the IS, change the ISO to 100, stop down to generally at least f11, probably stick a cable shutter release on and go to work

i want to not have to fiddle with the ISO and the aperture, i want to somehow push one button and have the iso go to 100 and the aperture go to f11. is there a way i can do this with the 50D?

thanks,

Matt
