Broken wing (1 Viewer)

Rescued small back bird..?? from horse tank. Thought he was dead. very active until you touch him, then he acts dead...? Seems to have a broken wing with some injury. We put him the outside aviary and he keeps running from side to side. Will not calm down. He has food and water. Is there a list of bird rescues? We live near San Antonio, Texas. Also - can he give my parrotts any diseases? He seems healthy other than his wing. If I let him go, the cats and wildlife will make a quick meal of him. Appreciate any advice.
