Hi all,

Could this bird be a non breeding Red-winged Warbler?

Picture taken today in Bangui (Central African Republic)

Many thanks,

Patrick

I would agree with your identification of Red-winged Warbler Heliolais erythroptera (from jizz, bill colour, long tail (foreshortened here)), although it isn't very red winged, and my initial reaction was Red-faced Cisticola Cisticola erythrops!
