VG Swallow 6 eggs hatching soon! (1 Viewer)

Our Violet Green Swallow has laid 6 eggs one day at a time ending on 5-25-15 in one of our birdhouses, and that seems to be the size of the clutch. They should be hatching within the next couple weeks. I have a little camera inside, and am live streaming it on USTREAM:

One interesting development: 5-26-15 a large spider (either a Carolina Wolf spider or a Jumping Spider) has taken up residence in the birdhouse (under a feather in the bottom right corner of the screen), and has crawled out to catch a beetle once, retreats when the bird leaves/comes in the nest. So far the swallow has ignored it, but will have to see what happens.

I have recorded all the video and have a daily record, so will report that info to Nest Watch and eventually edit a condensed video of the entire nest building and hatching/fledging process.

Please click "Like" on the USTREAM channel, comment if you want and Share it with anyone else you think might be interested.
