After many years using my late father's Swift Trylites 8x40s I've been looking for another pair and was wondering if any of you have any experience of these bins?

Have seen them advertised locally for £75.

Thanks
Si

I have had a pair of these for 15 years or so. Very good in their time and were once classed as one of the best optics below, I think £200/150 at the time.

One problem I have just had is the eye piece rubber split recently (I wear glasses, my other half doesn't and the constant 'adjusting' must have worn the rubber out).

Ok shock/water proof (have had the lens fog up occasionally but that was out in wet conditions for long hours). I bought them for low light conditions - Owl work. Neck strap was too long for me, so I replaced it.
