Pectoral sandpiper check (1 Viewer)

There was a lot of interest shown in this bird at Bough Beech Nature Reserve yesterday morning, identified as a Pectoral Sandpiper. One hasn't been seen there for many years, I am told. Can someone confirm the identification from my rather poor photo? (I am still having trouble in focussing the camera in digiscoping)

Hi Lawrie,

Yep, that's a Pec. Note the yellow-brown legs, stout-based bill with a greenish base, clean white belly & flanks, and sharply defined edge to the brown on the breast.
