Need a new tripod. (1 Viewer)

Hi,

My tripod has finally had it. I need a new one for my Opticron HR66 scope. I'm hoping to get the full kit (legs and head) for no more than £60 due to serious financial constraints (kids!).

I have found some pretty cheap stuff on the web, but have no idea whether it's any good or not...

I don't need it for anything else (like cameras etc), but do a bit of digiscoping when the occasion arises.

Thanks,

Andy M

I don't know enough to make specific recommendations within your budget, but I would suggest you have a look at the used market. A friend of mine picked up an almost mint 3 series Gitzo for 100 pounds and an unused Feisol CT3342 for a tenner less, I got a Gitzo 1329 Mk2 for a hundred as well - so it's well worth a look!
The Feisol was bought at a well known auction site and my Gitzo from a local camera shop.
