Attached are two photos, the first of which appears to be a curlew sandpiper, tho it seems to have a very short bill, shorter than the dunlin in the background. Am I correct in my ID?
The second photo shows quite a few waders, curlew sands, dunlin, little stint and sanderling. The bird I am not sure about is next to the little stint. Is this a winter plumage dunlin or something else entirely?
I would appreciate any help you guys can offer.
Cheers, Stu.

All correct, juv curlew sands, juv little stint, juv sanderling, mostly adult dunlin, the dunlin behind the little stint is an immature moulting to first winter.
