Large spiders in South Canada (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I found many of this first spider species on rocks around the Severn River, about two hours north of Toronto, in June 2011. It's a Dock Spider sp., but I'm not sure which one. It had a very nice bluish silver sheen when it was in direct sunlight; otherwise it just looked brown and didn't appear to have any distinctive patterns.

And this other spider, in the same locality, photographed at night. I can't decide what this is.

Thanks for your help,
