A probable kittiwake over Forge Mill early this morning as well as a flyover wheatear per Mike Ixer

Seen/heard around the reserve early morning during breeding bird survey: sedge, reed, willow warblers, blackcap, chiffchaffs, flyover wheatear, parakeets, little ringed plover, common sandpiper x3, oystercatcher x5.

Biggest interest was a gull at the far end of Forge Mill when I was on the bandstand that appeared to have completely black wingtips. My first thought was kittiwake but it quickly flew off out of site. Interesting that there was a kittiwake at Upton Warren this morning - maybe a small inland movement? See if any other sites report them today.
