Hi all,

Looking for an ID for this shorebird seen on the beach heading towards the Laem Pak Bia sandspit, Phetchaburi, Thailand.

It was seen with a group of Sanderling (yes?!), and I'm guessing it is simply a Great Knot that had lost it's flock - there were hundreds of Great Knot further along the beach and at the sandspit itself. The bird in question just looked a little different than the other knots, but that may simply have been because of the scenario in which I saw it.

Cheers,

Ben.
