Request for Help (colour ringed Pied and white Wagtails) (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am posting this message on behalf of Mr. Dennis Elphick from England.

We have been colour ringing Pied Wagtails (Motacilla yarellii) and
White Wagtails (Motacilla alba) here at Slapton, England since 2005.

We have ringed some 3,000 individuals and had nearly 70 recoveries
since this intensive study started in October 2002. Some 60% are
re-sights of colour ringed birds as opposed to recaptures and birds
are now being seen as far south as Portugal and Gambia/Senegal.

Any help and assistance in locating and reporting colour ringed White
Wagtails in Europe or Morocco would be gratefully appreciated not only
this year but also during 2009 and 2010.

Many Thanks for your assistance.

Regards

Dennis Elphick
