Scottish raptor persecution case provides hope? (1 Viewer)

I know reduced sentences are handed out to those who plead guilty, but I'd like to know exactly who's money was used to paid the fine. The estate in question, along with the criminal, have been kicked out of their respective association, BIG DEAL. It doesn't stop them from continuing just as before, except they don't have to pay their subscriptions. Farcical.

I wonder..... they will no longer be able to advertise membership of the associations - may matter to some shooters - and the fact that they've been kicked out must mean that the associations themselves and at least some of the members see merit in not being associated with raptor persecution.

The expulsion may actually be a more important thing than the fine.
