Hi - I'm visiting New Zealand and spotted this bird Feb. 11 at Lake Tekapo, New Zealand. I think maybe it is simply a juvenile House Sparrow, but wondering about the yellow in the wing bars. I have an app, but just a few photos of each bird and the description doesn't say anything about yellow wing bars, even in the juveniles. Thank in advance for any help!

Both your birds are imports from Europe (UK) so don't be too hard on yourself.
