Bah humbug
Gyr Falcon in the bag this morning. One of the trio saw one yesterday while driving but it disappeared before the others could get on to it.
But don't all 3 of them have to see it for it to count, by their rules?

Have they got Pacific Diver? Cornish one is doing the business at the moment.
John
Klacke saw it yesterday, they all saw it today.
My reading is that only one of them saw it yesterday but all three saw one this morning.

No Arctic Foxes presumably (not targetted?) Do they actually have their mammal list up somewhere?
Did they get Bufflehead anywhere during the year? If they had done Iceland in the early part of the year when they also seemed to take a prolonged break, they could have got this easily, along with the other Icelandic specialities.
They got Bufflehead on 22.2 in the Netherlands.
Canaries and Cape Verde I think
while the Yellow-billed Divers will stay at Varanger presumably for the whole winter!
According to their itinerary, the team should be on their way to Varanger today. The main (only?) target would be White-billed Diver.
