Nikon P900 - good bridge camera for Video? (1 Viewer)

Dear all,

I'm looking at replacing my wife's 6 year old Sony Camcorder. She only takes video (not stills) of birds & wildlife mainly on our overseas trips. This year in Sri Lanka she got some OK footage of various species but the quality especially at maximum zoom was not the best and the camera tends to hunt at higher mags.

I have been reading reviews of the Nikon P900 and it seems as if it might just fit the bill, so I'd be grateful of any personal feedback from users regarding their experience with this camera, or for that matter, any other which you think might be suitable.

Thanks
