Dragonfly ID in Kent (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I took this photo on 7th July at Ranscombe Farm, near Cuxton, North Kent.
It has distinctive yellow wings close to where the wings join the body, but not as much as shown in photos of the Yellow Winged Darter.
Any ideas on ID please?
Thanks
Dave

Yes, immature Ruddy Darters can frequently show quite a bit of yellow at the wing-base, though this generally fades with maturity. There is however a form in SE Europe/SW Asia that is almost as yellow as a Yellow-winged Darter.
