Looking at the second pic, I'm thinking Immature Red-shouldered Hawk

I agree. Look at the narrow pale bands in its tail and the pale checkering on the secondaries.

Thanks! I was thinking maybe either red-tailed or red-shouldered, but the more pics I looked at the more confused I got. Lol.
