Hi People:

I have both of these binoculars and have read so many times on here the non phase coated version is outdated and not worth having.

What am I missing? I see no difference between them when I am looking through them? They are both crystal clear, both show the same color clarity and both work as well in daylight as well as under floodlights at the racetrack.

Am I just being ignorant or what am I missing here?

Thanks

Craig

Hi Ronald, You said this.;)

"These bins are still very good, I can understand why they were considered to be one of the best roofs in the mid-eighties of the 20th century."

Craig, I had an older Swarovski 7x30 SLC and it was non-p coated and it was an excellent binocular. Enjoy your Zeiss binoculars.
