I saw a hummingbird...wasn't able to get a good look at what color the chin is. Taken in Denver Colorado a couple weeks ago. Thinking black-chinned or broad-tailed. I read the black-chinned does a mating dance that resembles a pendulum flight pattern. Is this also true for the broad-tailed?

Here is video of the flight pattern:

The wing tip is clearly black chinned shape. But the tail is a bit long. Not really sure. More books. OK, has to be black-chinned, RT would be way out of range.

I would say Black-chinned. Broad-tailed usually exhibit a paler eye-ring, and the bird in question shows the white spot behind the eye that I usually associate with Black-chinned.
