Olympus B-300 1.7X (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking of buying a Lumix FZ38 having seen some great results here. I noticed that people also used the Olympus TCON-17 teleconverter with some success.

A trawl through my old gear revealed an Olympus B-300 1.7X teleconverter that looks very similar to the TCON-17. This has the required 55mm thread so should attach to the adapter.

Will the B-300 work as well as the TCON-17?

Thanks,

Dave
