Hi everyone -
I'm very interested in birds and have just joined your group
to learn and to share.
Recently a flock of birds (ducks or geese)
came to our Texas town. I think they're migrating but haven't
figured out just what they are. They appeared Sunday and were
still here today so I snapped a picture to show you.
I would appreciate any help in identifying them.

Hey patti! welcome to birdforum!!!

Your birds are Egyptian Gooses, Alopochen aegyptiacus. They are not native here, but there are numerous feral populations and escapes in the US.
