In the wake of the Bare-faced Bulbul here is yet another announcement regarding a new bird species. A new species of Spinetail was published in The Auk July 2009, Vol. 126, No. 3, Pages 485–492 by Steve Hilty and David Ascanio.
There are more species coming from the same area soon to be described .
Just posted a blogpost about the findings in Venezuela on my blog if anyone is interested. http://bit.ly/ohxGc

I assume that's the unnamed Spinetail in Hilty's Birds of Venezuela?

Some nice new birds in your blog post!
