Waxwings hi-def movies - Lothians (1 Viewer)

I wanted to share these two videos of waxwings - I had great views this last weekend and had great fun trying out a new high definition video camera (Canon XL-H1A) on them. The flocks were at Musselburgh and at Tranent, near Edinburgh. I was fortunate to have (for the most part) good light and rather confiding birds! Thanks also to the obliging house owner in Eskview Road who allowed me into his garden to film. Unfortuantely there is quite a lot of traffic noise but the trilling calls can be clearly heard, particularly on the second video.
