Hello!
Looking for information pertaining to digiscoping using a Vortex Viper scope (20-60x 80mm) and a point and shoot camera. Vortex has a DCA, plate attachment, and adapter ring for point and shoot cameras. They also state that the camera should have no more than a 3–4x optical zoom. Has anyone tried using this set-up for digiscoping, or this arrangement not worth the money? Bob

Hi Bob and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I've moved your post to the Digiscoping Forum, as I think you're more likely to get the help and advice you're looking for in there.
