Really Shiny Beetle ID Needed (1 Viewer)

Ford Focus Fanatic: mmmmmm... 3.1415926535.....
I was doing some yard work and happened to startle this beetle with sunlight and the thing looked like a silver bullet. It's very smooth, and I've never seen it before in my entire life.

EDIT: Dang it, for some reason the Manage Attachments window isn't showing up. My comp somehow was deprived of memory while I was out. I'm really peeved about this

hi Gthang;

I´d sai it is superfamily Scaraboidea; Family Melolonthidae...But I am not totally sure of the family and any further Identification to species or even genus or is impossible for me due to the lack of experience with NA beetles and the pic quality.

Perhaps there´s an NA entomologist around who could check this?
