Hi, folks! Would you call it an Eurasian White-fronted Goose too or does it potentially have some Lesser White-fronted genes?

Cheers - f. :smoke:

111 views and no answer :-C There are a few of Greater White-fonts with white lid-ring and discharging blaze. I stew over bill-size and -strukture, small black belly-patches and somewhat yellowish lid-ring.

Come on ;)

As we do not have that much information on the appearance of hybrids between the two, it is not easy.

There is a publication on such hybrids (shot in the wild decades back) in the web:
http://65.54.113.26/Publication/42300516

but at the moment I always get an "error" trying to access it. I think there was a description in this and photos of the shot museum specimens. If i remember this correctly , your bird could fit.
