Hi, folks.

Can anyone tell me what this poor, frowsy fellow is? He was on the utility pole in my back yard on January 4th. Red tail? Bald Eagle? I'm pretty sure he's a juvenile. Thanks for any help!

It's definitely an adult red-tailed, but what a mess. Maybe it got too close to one of the wires
