Spotted this from the road.. couldnt get a closer view (snowbank higher then the car)... was wondering what it was.. we had some snowy owls in the area, but this looks a bit dark for that... thanks for any help in solving this mystery!

oh wow really?? we have sharp tailed mostly around here... a few gray partridge too... would never have guessed.. Thanks!
