Red kites near New Galloway (1 Viewer)

Yes, as Mark says the feeding station will give guaranteed photographic opportunities, although I think it is much more satisfying if you can find your own while you are out and about. Don't tell anybody but if you venture round the roads surrounding the feeding station after a session has ended there should be quite a few Kites still flying about and resting in trees. ;)

We had really good views at Ken Dee, in the field nearest the car part and down the walk as if you are on the way to the Geese viewpoint, there was a field that the farmer was tilling over and there was over a dozen following him...nb this was late Sept last year though.

I would agree it's a good spot. I've been to Ken Dee 3 times and have not yet failed to see a few on the walk from the car park
