Anyone fancy a dawn chorus meet at Bolton Abbey next month?
Meet at Barden Car Park at 0630, we've tried 0530 in the past and found that there was little about until later.

well we did it - sorry for the delay in reporting. 3-4 wood warblers, several redstarts, garden warblers, spotted flycatchers, mandarin duck, treecreeper, green woodpecker along with shedloads of common sandpipers (or the same bird with loads of energy) The later start was definitely worth it.
